Seeweb Srl is committed to protecting your personal information. A cookie is a text file stored on the computer or mobile device by the server of a website and that only that server will be able to retrieve or read its contents. It contains some anonymous information and allows the website to remember, for example, your preferences or what’s in your cart.

Regolo.ai uses cookies because, in some parts of our site, they are essential, and without them you would not be able to use our services. Cookies also help us to provide you with a better and richer experience, for example, by suggesting products or services of interest to you or in order to interact with social network platforms.

The following sections detail the specific categories of cookies we use, the advertising partners involved, and how we manage your consent.

1. Scope

This notice explains how Seeweb (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies, web‑beacons, pixels and similar tracking technologies on the website www.regolo.ai. It also describes the categories of personal data that may be transferred to our advertising partners – X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and Reddit – the purposes of those transfers, the legal basis for processing, retention periods and how you can exercise your rights.

What the data means for you:

  • User‑ID – a pseudonymous identifier created by the partner, not directly linked to your name.
  • Hash‑of‑email – SHA‑256 (or stronger) hash of the email address; irreversible for the partner unless they possess the original email.
  • Conversion ID – an opaque value that lets the partner attribute a conversion (e.g., sign-up, purchase) to a prior ad impression.
  • User‑agent & IP – technical data needed for fraud detection, device‑type classification and geographic approximation.

All data are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and stored by the partner for the period shown above. After expiry the data are automatically deleted or anonymised according to each partner’s retention policy.

5. How We Obtain Your Consent (when needed)

  1. First‑visit banner – As soon as you land on our Regolo.ai domain, a cookie banner appears giving you some choices:
    • “Accept all” – enables analytics and advertising trackers.
    • “Reject non‑essential” – only strictly necessary cookies are set.
    • “Customize” – lets you toggle each category (Analytics, Advertising-X, Advertising-LinkedIn, Advertising-Reddit) individually.
  2. Granular toggles – Within the “Customize” panel you can enable/disable each partner separately. The banner records your explicit “accept” or “reject” action and stores this preference in the cookie_consent record (encrypted, 1‑year lifespan).
  3. Consent logging – Every consent event is logged (date‑time, IP (hashed), user‑agent, selected options) in a secure audit table for compliance evidence.

6. How to Revoke or Modify Your Consent

  • Via the cookie banner – Click the “Cookie preferences” link that appears at the bottom of every page, adjust the settings and hit “Save your preferences”.
  • By email – Send a request to privacy@regolo.ai with the subject “Cookie consent withdrawal”. Include your email address (or the account ID) so we can locate your consent record.
  • Through your account settings – If you are logged‑in, go to Settings → Privacy & Cookies and manage the toggles.

Upon withdrawal, we will immediately stop loading all non‑essential trackers for your browser/device. Historical data already transmitted to the partners cannot be retroactively deleted by us; however we will issue a request to each partner to delete or anonymise the data where feasible (as required under Art. 17 GDPR).
